Recent transaction experience – Moneyway
insurance broking business
- In May 2008, Secure Trust Bank, the retail banking subsidiary of Arbuthnot Banking Group, announced the sale of its Moneyway insurance broking business to Swinton
- The sale formed part of the restructuring process of the bank
- It included the transfer of 13 branches and relevant staff, in addition to the existing insurance business
- Asgard Partners acted as sole financial adviser to Secure Trust Bank
